An Indian patent has been granted to the Translational Health Science and Technology institute (THSTI) and Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar for a pharmaceutical composition comprising small molecules (computationally designed) that improve intracellular nitric oxide thereby enhancing anti-viral and anti-inflammatory responses. Dr Shailendra Asthana, Prinicpal Scienctist-II, THSTI is an inventor in this application.
