Ms. Jyoti Sutar awarded the BMGF funded Global Health Travel grant
Ms. Jyoti Sutar, Senior Research Fellow working with Dr Jayanta Bhattacharya under the USAID-funded project, has received the Global Health Travel Award funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to attend and deliver an oral presentation at the Keystone Symposium on HIV Vaccines to be held in Colorado, USA from March 22-26, 2020. She will be presenting her work on the effect of subtle variations in the HIV-1 primary envelope sequences obtained from HIV+ individuals in Mumbai region (in the gp41 membrane proximal external region or MPER) on their sensitivity and binding to broadly neutralizing antibodies targeting epitopes in MPER.
