Dr. Peter Hotez, Dean and Dr. Maria Bottazzi, Sr. Associate Dean for the National School of Tropical Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, USA visited Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) on 19th March 2024. They were accompanied by Dr Shirshendu Mukherjee, Mission Director, Program Management Unit, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). Dr Hotez and Dr Bottazi interacted with the faculty members and scientists of THSTI and shared their insights about their work at Baylor College of Medicine. They also visited some of the facilities of THSTI viz., Bioassay Lab, Genome Sequencing, Immunology Core Lab and Vaccine Design and Development Centre.
