Translational Health Science Technology Institute’s stall in the India International Science Festival (IISF) 2023 was one of the most visited stalls of the festival. Visitors included inquisitive and excited school children, college students, teachers, researchers, academicians and government officials. There were posters about the research centres and research facilities of the institute. The posters included the major and key achievements of the institute. The stall also had various models that captivated the visitors. These models depicted the scientific research of THSTI. Dr Rajesh Gokhale, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology visited the stall and interacted with researchers.

One of the key areas of research at THSTI is in vaccines. A vaccine tunnel, UTSAV- Untold Research Saga in Vaccines was put up at IISF2023 that showcased the academic research that goes into designing and developing a vaccine candidate before the technology is transferred to industry. Honourable Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh ji, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar ji and other dignitaries visited the Vaccine tunnel and appreciated the work done by academicians in vaccine research. THSTI also put up mobile lab testing to detect anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in the participants. More than 100 people got themselves tested for the anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in their blood samples.
