The Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA), THSTI, was awarded a grant in 2022, in collaboration with the MRC Clinical Trials Unit, University College London, and Christian Medical College, Vellore by the British Council for ‘Training the next generation of clinical trialists’, under the Going Global Partnership. Mr John McNamara (Global Head Research, Education Insight) and Ms Sandeepa Sahay (South Asia Regional Head, Education Insight) from the British Council visited THSTI on the 21st of September 2023 to meet with the team and discuss the success and challenges of the project. This grant helped with the curriculum development and certain aspects of teaching for the M.Sc. in Clinical Research (specialization in clinical trials) offered at THSTI. The British Council team was briefed on the other deliverables of the project, and key outcomes of this collaboration.
