16 Jul 2020

Adding to her long list of accomplishments, Prof. Gagandeep Kang, our current Executive Director, was elected as a Fellow of The Royal Society (FRS) for 2019. The election to the prestigious society is especially important as this makes Prof. Kang the first woman working in India to be elected to the Society in the 400+ years of its history. She has been awarded the fellowship in recognition of her contributions to vaccine development in India and establishment of training programs in clinical translational medicine.
