Dr Bharti Bhatia, Principal Scientist-I, has been conferred with the Runner-Up for Ramanujan Arogya Udaan Samman (Individual Excellence – Young Scientist Award) at the Bharat Life Sciences Award, organised by FICCI, India in partnership with Eli Lilly, India. (India). She received the award in recognition of her work on developing an indigenous Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV)-based platform for rapid-response vaccines. As part of the award, Dr Bhatia received a grant support of INR 50 lakh.
