Mr. Debapriyo Sarmadhikari, PhD Scholar working with Dr. Shailendra Asthana, has won 1st prize in the Poster and Oral Presentation categories at Accelerating Biology 2026, held in Pune from September 7-9, 2026. He presented his research on understanding how viral proteins hijack host Beclin1 to develop autophagy inducers using computational approaches & structure-based drug discovery.
