The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) celebrated National Science Day on 27th Feb 2026 with a special session featuring Prof. Aditi Sinha from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Addressing researchers and students, Prof. Sinha shared key moments from her professional journey as a clinician-researcher, detailing her impactful work in Nephrology and highlighting how bridging clinical practice with laboratory research accelerates breakthroughs in patient care.

In his address, Prof. G. Karthikeyan, Executive Director of THSTI Faridabad, stressed the vital need to increase female representation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines. Emphasising that women constitute 50 per cent of the nation's potential talent, he noted that women’s empowerment remains a crucial key to unlocking innovation and driving India’s scientific domain forward.
