Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) and Indian Institute of technology (IIT), Delhi have been granted an Indian patent for their work on a recombinant Dengue vaccine. Dr Supratik Das, Principal Scientist-I is the lead inventor from THSTI in this patent. By utilizing a specific nucleic acid fragment to encode the Dengue envelope protein (E), this construct aims to provide broad protection across serotypes.
