Prof Amit Awasthi has become a Fellow of the  Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), the oldest Science Academy of India. This recognition comes for his significant contributions in the field of T-cell biology in inflammatory diseases and T-cell immune response to COVID-19 vaccines. Prof Amit Awasthi has received an award from Sun Pharma Science Foundation in the Medical Sciences-Basic research category for his impactful contributions to Immunology Research.
