On 18^th April 2023, School of Innovation in Biodesign (SiB) was inaugurated at the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI).  This program is multi-institutional with IIT-Madras, CMC Vellore, PGIMER Chandigarh, Venture Centre Pune and ESIC Medical College and Hospital as partnering institutes. The thrust of this program is on in vitro diagnostics and promoting entrepreneurship. The current program has seven SiB fellows whom THSTI and partnering institutes will mentor.
