A workshop on “Roadmap for Patent Creation” was conducted by Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) in collaboration with Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India on 22^nd August 2022. Researchers & students from Acharya Narendra Dev College, Ram Lal Anand College, Maitreyi College and Manav Rachna International institute of Research and Studies the workshop. The aim of the workshop was to create awareness patents and its filing in India and abroad. The resource persons from CIPAM were Ms. Rashmi Tyagi, Manager, CIPAM and Ms. Neetu, Assistant Manager, CIPAM. There were sessions on what can be patented in India, importance of patent filing and types of patent applications for filing in India and abroad. The speakers also spoke about pre-grant and post grant opposition in India. The workshop was very interactive and the participants requested for more such sessions to be held in future.
