The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), in collaboration with Miltenyi Biotec and the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), hosted a symposium on 11th Novemebr 2025, uniting clinicians, academics, and industry leaders. The key focus of the symposium was developing indigenous CGT constructs and fostering an ecosystem where this multi-sector collaboration thrives. 
The momentum continued with a 3-day hands-on CAR-T manufacturing workshop (12-14 Nov 2025). This first-of-its-kind training blended Miltenyi University online modules with immersive practical sessions at THSTI's facility. Participants got end-to-end exposure to CGT manufacturing, including: Preclinical Development, Closed-System Cell Processing, Quality Control & Compliance Upskilling the next generation of CGT pioneers.
This initiative was designed to bridge the gap between research and clinical application by equipping early-career scientists and clinicians with comprehensive, practical experience, spanning pre-clinical development, GMP-compliant manufacturing and clinical translation.
