On 14th October 2025, 30 UG students from Swami Shraddhanand College, Delhi University, visited THSTI, Faridabad. The visit was designed to provide valuable exposure to the real-world applications of scientific research in health and biomedical sciences. The students received an extensive tour of Functional Genomics Laboratory, Microbial Repository (GeHuMic), Bioassay Laboratory and Vaccine Design and Development Centre. The students interacted with researchers and saw advanced techniques in action. They gained practical exposure to experimental methods such as: Sanger Sequencing, MiSeq Techniques, SDS-PAGE, Gel Documentation, PCR, Centrifugation.

The visit was highly interactive with the Professors and researchers patiently answering every question and ensured that every student clearly understood the concepts. They encouraged the students to seriously consider research as a career path and to contribute actively to the vital scientific Research and Development (R&D) ecosystem of the country.
