Prof Amit Awasthi has become a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), the oldest Science Academy of India. This recognition comes for his significant contributions in the field of T-cell biology in inflammatory diseases and T-cell immune response to COVID-19 vaccines. Prof Amit Awasthi has received an award from Sun Pharma Science Foundation in the Medical Sciences-Basic research category for his impactful contributions to Immunology Research.
