Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) carried out a mega plantation drive on its campus, demonstrating a commitment to environmental sustainability and fiscal responsibility. As part of the ongoing BioE3 Pakhwada (August 24 - September 6, 2025), the institute used saplings cultivated in its own nursery to carry out the large-scale greening effort.

The initiative, led by Prof. G. Karthikeyan, Executive Director of THSTI, saw the enthusiastic participation of the entire THSTI fraternity. By leveraging its internal resources, THSTI developed a new green lawn at its Medical Research Centre, saving lakhs of rupees in costs. This shows THSTI’s commitment to regenerative practices and shows how internal resources can lead to significant, sustainable impact. The event wrapped up by giving away free seed bags to everyone, encouraging green living beyond the campus.
