Kajal Kambol, A PhD scholar, working under the guidance of Prof Bhabatosh Das has received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research, an initiative jointly implemented by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under the Department of Science & Technology and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation. This fellowship aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by encouraging doctoral research that addresses real-world challenges and is aligned with industry needs. Ms Kamboj is working on developing effective bacteriophage cocktails to combat drug-resistant infections and the industry partner in this fellowship is M/s Ruhvenile Biomedical OPC Pvt Ltd.
