Dr. Zaigham Abbas Rizvi, Research Scientist at the Infection and Immunology Centre headed by Prof. Amit Awasthi, won the best Oral presentation award, 2022 at the 49th Annual Meeting of Indian Immunology Society (IMMUNOCON 2022) held from 23-26 November 2022 at PGI, Chandigarh. The award was given for his research work on "Thymic involution and T cell maturation defect induced by COVID-19" and included a certificate along with a cash award.
