Kumar Nishchaya and team members - Devhuti Chetan Palan, and Dr. Jayanti Kumari, SiB Fellows mentored by Dr Niraj Kumar, Dr. Susmita Chaudhuri, and Dr. Dinesh Mahajan were awarded the Young Scientist Award (Oral Presentation, Pharmaceutical Sciences Category) and a cash prize of INR 20,000 for Project - SeptiCheck - A multidrug monitoring kit for quantifying last-resort antibiotics for septic patients in ICU settings at 5th National Biomedical Research Competition (NBRCOM 2024) held at AIIMS, New Delhi from December 1st-3rd 2024.

Devhuti Palan and team members- Dr. Jayanti Kumari, and Kumar Nishchaya (SiB fellows at THSTI) were Awarded 2nd prize in the Young Researcher Award (Oral Presentation in Life Sciences) Category for “Development of cleverCUP - an automatic midstream urine collecting device for women to improve UTI diagnosis” in the 5th National Biomedical Research Competition (NBRCOM 2024) held at AIIMS, New Delhi from December 1st- 3rd, 2024.
