Vigilance awareness week was observed in the institute from 30 October – 5 November, 2023 with theme “भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध करे, राष्ट्र को समर्पित रहे " , "Say no to corruption, commit to the nation”     The celebration began  with an integrity pledge administered administered in Hindi by Dr. Nisheeth Agarwal. Professor & CVO, THSTI and in English by Dr. Jayanta Bhattacharya, Executive Director (Addl. Charge), THSTI, to all the faculty, scientists, officers, employees, students, and research fellows. All were encouraged to adopt the principles of integrity both in the personal and professional aspects of life. An Essay writing competition was also organized for the employees during this week. 
Mr. Ashok Kumar, IPS (Retd.), Ex-Director General of Police graced the occasion with his presence during the vigilance awareness week celebration on 3rd November 2023. He delivered his talk on "Preventive Vigilance" and interacted with all the faculty, scientists, research fellows, students and staff present during his talk. Prizes were given away by the chief guest to the winners of the essay competition.
