Dr. Zaigham Abbas Rizvi, Senior Research Scientist, THSTI won the Young Scientist travel award for the European Congress for clinical microbiology and infectious diseases 2023 for his research on "Thymic involution and attenuated T cell maturation induced by SARS-CoV-2 infection" done under the mentorship of Prof. Amit Awasthi. The award included a certificate along with a cash award. In addition, his abstract was on the list of top-rated abstracts selected from 3500 abstracts.
