Pediatric Biology Center (PBC)

About PBC

The PBC's primary goal is to serve as an interdisciplinary research center where research on the biological basis of childhood health and disease leads to the creation of knowledge-driven interventions and technologies that can be sustainably implemented. The center bridges the gap between classical clinical and population epidemiology and mechanistic biology on the other hand to develop a science-driven approach to solving maternal and child health problems. The mandate of PBC is to become a national catalyst in designing solutions for maternal, neonatal and infant care engaging multiple expertise groups in this endeavor.
