We are pleased to announce that THSTI (Faridabad) and AIIMS (New Delhi) are jointly organizing a two days' conference on Cardiovascular Research Convergence 2017: A scientific forum for exchanging research views between clinicians and basic scientists, on 12th august, 2017 at the THSTI Campus Auditorium (Faridabad) and 20th August, 2017 at Ramalingaswami Board Room, AIIMS (New Delhi), respectively.

THSTI is a premier research institute in India, which integrates multidisciplinary scientific teams from the fields of medicine, science and technology for harnessing translational knowledge. The process is directed towards the production of biomedical innovations for use in various phases of health care.  Synergizing multiple disciplines of knowledge is a constant process at THSTI. This meeting will help THSTI in networking with leading institutions in India and to develop a fast-track multidisciplinary team to  translate ideas from the laboratory bench to the bedside and vice-versa.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the number one cause of death globally. Approximately 17.7 million people died from CVDs in 2015, representing around 30% of all global deaths.  New therapeutic and diagnostic strategies need to be identified for prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The main theme of the present conference will be to interact basic scientists and clinicians in developing a novel translational approach for treating and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases.

We would like to invite you to participate actively and contribute your scientific knowledge  to make this event a great success.
